Ravana of the 21st century

Radicalisation is the 'Ravana' of the modern world. What we are seeing today, is a technologically advanced but morally backward world. Religious extremism, communal riots, discrimination, on the basis of caste, gender, social status, be it anything, are nothing but an example of a sick mentality.
Radicalisation has a vast definition but in simple words, radicalisation is nothing but adopting an extreme stand or ideas based on the religious ideals and aspiration. The major cause of global terrorism is nothing but an outcome of radicalisation or religious extremism in other words. The root cause behind the origin of any religion apart from the spiritual aspect was to transform our uncivilised ancestors into civilised human beings. Whosoever according to the stories started that particular religion, had the purpose of keeping all the population under a certain law so that there will be a discipline among these people. The same job is done by constitutions today. So the cause behind  the rules and regulations mentioned in the Bible, Quran, Geeta and Guru Granth Sahib are justified. Perhaps that was the stepping stone for the development of modern humans. But here comes a paradox, that unlike the constitutions, these religious texts has no option of amendments in the rules and regulations. What I feel, there is actually no need of any amendments, so perfectly those things are kept, but how they are being projected in front of the common people, is the matter of concern.
At that time when these religions were formed, the population was uncivilised, and by the rule of nature, the only thing that can put them on the line of discipline, is the fear of something, for example the concept of Sin in Christianity, Haram in Islam, and Paap-Punya in Hinduism and Sikhism. What we are seeing in radicalisation today, is the misuse of these regulations of our religious texts by terrorists and politicians to serve their agenda. Their main targets are jobless, emotional, unaware people, who by the name of god, gets ready to kill innocent people, gets ready to fight with the fellow countrymen on the grounds of caste and religion.
If I went into details, there are hundreds of examples, but the bottom line is, we as a civilised human beings should come into play and become aware, stop trusting radicalised data, stay updated, read things from a trusted source and not from your community WhatsApp group, be aware of the surrounding, be an aware citizen. If we as people start making a progress towards peace, these negative powers won't be able to do any harm to the humanity.

The Social Media Trap

Today we are going to talk about a  topic - very commonly acknowledged, talked by almost everyone, known by every rational mind but easily ignored, the social media trap. Although everybody talks about it, also ironically on the very social media platforms, it is very easily ignored. Additionally, and this can be an isolated observation, everybody seems to be talking only about the problem or what is bad, what you should be doing, but no one tells "why".     So in the following part of the blog, we will mainly focus on the hidden side of the topic that no one talks about. 1.  Tons of Influencers There are multiple POVs to look at social media influencers. The common people look at them from a different point of view, they are part of the job for the Digital Marketers, and they hold a different kind of importance for the business owners. What important to know is - how are they being used to sell a narrative, an agenda or a product is alarming. Hum...

Surviving From Pandemic - The Education System

It's been over an year with one of the biggest pandemics in the history of mankind and the only way we can reach back to the normal world is after 100% vaccination of the whole population. There are trends of a new normal like - having your half a face covered with mask in public, online education, working from home, weekend curbs or night curbs, not having a social gathering, zoom meetings, video calls and so on.      When we talk about a long term impact of the pandemic there are both positives and negatives. Let's start with the positive ones first. I can see a drastic change in the mentality of the society towards health and hygiene. The main driver of the change became washing hands. We Indians were too lazy or ignorant about this particular aspect prior pandemic, I have barely seen anybody using hand sanitizers including myself. The only time I used to wash my hands with soap was before a meal. Many skipped that too😂. However nowadays I can see...

Responsibilities Vs. Comfortzone

Responsibility is a very heavy concept as it is one of the fundamentals of life. In general, there are two major types of responsibilities. The first one is the Social Responsibility, but if I start talking about that, it is a whole new topic and this blog will not be enough to cover that up. So, let's not talk about that here. The more important is the second one i.e. Personal Responsibility or in other words, the responsibility of an individual about his or her own life.       Why I said more important? There are a lot of things which are directly or indirectly dependent on how responsible an individual is about his or her personal life, as Mr. Gandhi rightly said, "if you want to change the world, start with yourself". These days the sense of personal responsibility is forgotten by youngsters of our age which automatically affects the world, the country, and the society we are living in. Now, we will see what exactly is happening.    ...
